Deliverance Poster — Does This Look Familiar?

Thanks to Mike and Dave, a couple of my Facebook friends and members of the JAWSmovie community, this one-sheet for Deliverance (1972) bears a striking resemblance to the original iconic one-sheet for JAWS. Perhaps original poster artist Roger Kastel was inspired by the redneck-laden film that came out three years before JAWS?

Maybe this guy knows:

 1. The inbreed kid is still alive and lives in the area where the film was shot. He is, in fact, not an inbred. In addition, he could not play the banjo at all. The scenes of him dueling with Ronny Cox featured the hands of a skilled player sitting below and behind him. It is the players hands you see and not those of the kids

 2.

“Maybe they didn’t use it because Deliverance is misspelled”
I think that’s because this is a foreign poster
it’s a french poster, so there’s no misspelling.
