Recently off Hutchinson Island, Florida, three surfers saw a 6 to 7 foot spinner shark shooting out of the water and pirouetting 5 or 6 times —all within a few feet of where they were surfing.

In 1975, novelty artist Dickie Goodman peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with “Mr. Jaws,” a break-in record in which he interviews several characters from JAWS. The record became Goodman’s biggest-selling hit record.
