JAWS 5

Hey people I wrote my own version of JAWS 5 enjoy.

Prologue

It was nightfall in the Atlantic. The sea was calm, as still as a lake. It was pitch black, nothing moving. Suddenly a dark shadow was rising, emerging from the deep. A large black shape was moving upward. A submarine, the USS Indianapolis. It moved across the water silently slipping back into the deep. It was 1945 and the submarine was delivering the Atom Bomb to Japan. No ship knew it was there. It moved through the water like a shadow. It just landed at an island dropping off a bomb. Soon it slid under, silently. On the ship, a guy named Quint was watching the scope for any movement. Without turning his head he lit a cigar, yawning. The sea was pitch black. You could barely see five feet in front of the periscope. Quint was thirty- three. He hadn't shaved in a month and he was bored. Suddenly two dark shapes in the scope caught his eye. He yelled for the Captain.

“Captain Charles, come quick, sir.” Captain Charles rushed in. He looked at the scope. Two dark shapes were moving faster and faster towards the ship. Two torpedoes!!

“Everyone to the first floor. Raise the ship to the surface. Torpedoes are heading straight for us.”

People rushed to the first floor grabbing life vests. When everyone was there the torpedo hit with a large boom! Water was rising. Captain Charles opened an escape hatch. Everyone piled out into the ocean. The ship was going down fast. The current was pulling down tons of men, including Captain Charles. After it sank, surviving men piled into life boats. All was soon quieted. There was a thrashing sound. There in the water was a fin. It was a Tiger shark, thirteen footer. Men boxed in closer together. The fish went under taking a man with it. Soon all types of sharks came in taking men under. Luckily, Quint was surviving the tragedy. Dawn broke. Most men were gone but still five hundred. About six men an hour were lost. Finally, the next day a big fat air plane swung in low. It then started to pick up the crew that was left. Three hundred sixty men out of one thousand, one hundred ninety-six men survived the tragedy. Quint was luckily one who did make it out, alive!!

Chapter 1

It was the day of June sixth on the island of Amity and the sun was setting on a perfect day, or has it. Just below the glassy surface of the open water the great fish slid beneath it. The fish was heading for the island going at top speed.

Suddenly it's fin and tail broke the glassy surface and glided across the salty water. As it got closer and closer to the island it's fin slid right under with its tail going with it. The thrashing of it's tail pulled the four ton animal to the left, jerking it's fin back up to the silence of the deep water. A fisherman was on the back of a fishing boat, half awake, half asleep, anchored a mile away from Amity. Suddenly he realized something was in the water. When he looked over the side, he knew something was down there, but he saw nothing. Suddenly the fish rose from the deep. It hit the boat with a thud, knocking the man into the water. He saw the fin gliding around him. In a blink of an eye the man's body was half way on the back of the boat. Just as the man was climbing in, the fish came up and ripped off the lower body. When the lower torso was in the fish's mouth it ripped the torso and bones to shreds with it's razors. Some tiny flesh fell to the bottom as the fish headed to the surface.

The man was dead and the rest of his torso plopped into the water! The fish took the torso under and ripped it to shred's with it's powerful jaws. Then it headed towards the island once more.

The fish was about three hundred yards from the island. About ten yards away was a mini submarine. “I'm heading down towards the bottom,” said the guy in the sub. He had a radio that had a wireless connection to the boat, fifteen feet above the sub. Soon the sub dipped down into the water.

“I'm getting something on my radar.” the guy said.

“Don't worry it is probably something all flunked together,”

The fish shot forward and hit the sub. It soon dived down into darkness.

“Something hit me,” he said.

But before the boat could respond the fish shot up behind the sub. Just as the man was about to ask the people in the boat to respond he heard... “Ah, help, please help!”

“Hello, are you there?”

The fish jumped off the boat and darted down. It took out the engines to the sub. “I can't move.” He soon realized what happened and got his scuba tank. He opened the door and started to swim. He saw the fish and jumped behind the sub. The fish hit the submarine. The man swam up to the surface. Soon he looked down and the fish jumped out of the water with the lifeless corps in it's mouth. When it hit the water, it headed towards the island.

It's fin was staying above the surface until the salt water ran under a bridge leading it into the island. Finally the saltwater came into a fifty foot wide lake. When the fish had reached this part, it jerked to the left, exploring it's territory until the crack of dawn.

It was a cloudy day on Amity, but it was also a cloudy day for the people’s lives. The sea wind past over the cemetery. Twenty people were around a grave stone. On it, Larry Vaughn. Loving mayor, husband, and father. A minister had a bible open reading the service. Ellen Brody was in the crowd keeping her head down, occasionally peeping at Martin Brody's grave stone, two grave stones away. The crowd left and Ellen was still there. Hendricks, a good friend of Ellen put his hand on her shoulder.

“Come along Eleanor.”

“I’ll be along in a second.”

Hendricks walked out. Ellen then placed a picture of Martin, Vaughn, and herself by Vaughn’s grave. In the distance there was a low moaning sound from a light house. Ellen went to Martin's grave and placed a bunch of flowers above it. On his gravestone it said Martin Brody. Born 1935, died 1987.

“Dear lord, give me strength,” she said under her breath as she slowly walked out. It was nine thirty. The sun was shining and Ellen Brody was at the beach. Next to her was Sheriff Sanders, the new police chief.

A boy walked up. He looked almost identical to Alex Kintner. He asked the sheriff,

“Dad may I please go into the water now?”

“Alright Mike.” Mike picked up a yellow rubber raft. Ellen remembered that tragic day, so she sprung up.

“Um son maybe you don't want to go into the water.”

“What, are you a cop?” Mike said. He dove into the water. Ellen sat back down in her chair. The fish was swimming around the beach picking it's prey. Mike was splashing and making noise in the water. The fish heard the vibrations and headed towards him. The water was murky, so the fish had not yet come into view for the boy. Ellen looked out. She saw no boy on the raft. Not trying to panic she ran to Sanders and yelled, “Your boy has been killed by a monster shark. Get everyone out of the water now!!”

“Why are you panicking?” “There he is, coming out of the surf.”

Ellen rushed towards him. “Where did you go, and why did you leave your raft?”

“A wave hit me, and I fell off. Duh?” Mike walked off. Ellen left the beach and drove back to her house. Ellen was soon back at her house, the same house she lived in with Martin in 1975. She was in her night gown on the couch, drinking coffee. She looked above the fire place. On the mantle was a picture of Brody, Mayor Vaughn, and Matt Hooper holding a plaque with a tiny shark jaw on it. Ellen looked at the clock. It was 10:30. She went to the window. She looked at the ocean behind her house. She knew she would never go near the water again. Ellen went back to the couch and went to sleep. Back at the beach Sanders was watching his son. He got up to go get a Pepsi. Mike was still riding the waves and having fun. The fish was not yet visible, but a dark shape moved through the murky water. Without warning, the fish lifted it's head and took the boy down.

Sanders was walking back when he saw people pointing at Mike. He saw Mike being pulled down with blood around him. Sanders plunged into the water. He was just about to his boy when he went under one final time. Then a pale ghostly leg plopped in the surf. Sanders didn't see the creature as it swam away. He was going to tell the mayor so he needed to have proof. He pulled out his camera and in horror took pictures of his son. Then he came in from the ocean walking very slowly. He was at Mayor Vaughn, II’s office.

"Mayor, please, we have to do something! My boy has just died from some type of animal. Here’s some photos."

"Sanders I'll see what I can do but I can't make any promises to do anything."

"Fine I'll wait for a couple of days but if you can't do a thing I'm leaving the island."

Before the mayor could say another word Sanders was gone.

Vaughn went over to the aquarium. He went into the marine biologist's office. "What can I do for you Mayor?" asked the man.

He showed him the picture. "What do you think did this? This was found in the surf."

"It looks like a shark bite. I'm sure of that. But I'm not sure what type. Is that all?"

"I bet I know. A Great White!" In a flash the mayor was gone.

Sanders got into his truck and was heading back to the office. He couldn’t believe what had happened. He just had told his wife. She had fallen to pieces so Sanders was going to pack up, resign, and leave the island. He got out of his truck and went into the office. Everyone else was out having their lunch break. Sanders looked at the wall. There was a picture of Mike standing next to Sanders. He took it off the wall along his other pictures. He looked on his desk. There was a file with a tab saying Mike Sanders. Sanders opened it. There was a death report with a picture of Mike. Sanders looked at it very carefully. The small print said shark attack.

“I knew it. Well no point staying. Mayor can deal with it. I’m not staying here another minute.”

Then he put the file back on the shelf. He was scanning the shelf and found a file that caught his eye. Shark attacks, 1975 and 1978. He flipped it open. There were ten pages. The first page was Chrissie Watkins. Killed by shark. Massive tissue loss. The next page Alex Kintner. Massive blood loss. Next was Ben Gardener, man in pond, Samuel John Quint, two divers, two young teens, and a helicopter driver.

“This island has had two shark problems. Well it’s not my problem.”

He looked at his watch. It was 11:30. He had time to make it to the ferry. He got his things and left.

At about 11:50 the Amity ferry was in Amity waters. At high noon the ferry parked at Amity dock.

It let off the cars, including one belonging to Matt Hooper. Sanders and his wife got on. Matt was a long thin man, good tan, and some mid trimmed brown hair with a 5'o'clock shadow. It had been thirty years since he saw last Amity . He had just rented a lake house on the far side of Amity. He knew that a lot of kids like to swim in that lake so he was prepared for it. Once he arrived at the lake house it was 1:30. He stepped out and looked around.

Matt said to himself “Ah, it is nice to be back in Amity after thirty years.”

As he carried his belongings into his house, he heard something in his pocket. As he reached in to his pocket he found out it was his cell phone ringing.

“Hello,” he answered as he flipped open the phone.

The reply was tons of kids screaming,

“May we please come swim in your lake?”

“All right. All right. It is 1:30 pm, so come over in about one hour."

“Thank you,” they yelled as Hooper hung up!

Then after he put his phone back into his pocket, he pushed the door open he stared all around it. After that, he walked upstairs to his bed room, flung his things on his bed, fell down onto his bed, and stared off into space. Then he drifted off into sleep.

Once he was sound asleep Matt started to have a dream, or it was more like a nightmare. It was thirty years ago and Matt was on the boat called the ORCA, and was battling the first great white shark that terrorized Amity. Matt was in his shark cage under water, no weapons, and the shark was destroying the cage.

Hooper was trying to scream but Brody nor Quint could here him. Suddenly the shark broke the bars and had a wide open shot for Matt. Then it swam in as fast as a torpedo. It bit Hooper right on his chest. Just as Hooper's blood was shooting out of him and the shark was biting him in half, Hooper woke up screaming at the top of his lungs!

Then he got up and went to the sink to wash his face. He looked at the clock and realized that it was only ten minutes until 2:00 pm. He picked up the phone and called an old friend, Ellen Brody.

Chapter 2

It was an no ordinary day at Ellen Brody's house as she answered the phone.

“Hello,” she replied into the phone.

“Hi Ellen. It’s Hooper. I'm back in Amity for a couple of days. Do you want to come have lunch with me in about fifteen minutes?”

“Sure I would love to. It would be nice to have some company since Marty is gone. Where is your house located,” she asked?

Hooper replied “If you go straight from your house for two miles, take a left and drive for a mile, and finally take one more right and you will be at my place. See you there.”

Then they both hung up. Just after that Hooper heard a knock at the door.

When Matt opened the door there were about twenty kids screaming at different times “May we go in the lake now?!”

When Hooper nodded his head yes screams filled the air with splashing to go along with it. Once every kid was in the water Matt turned his head to the left and saw Ellen's car pull up into the driveway.

When Ellen stepped out Matt greeted her with a friendly hello and walked her to the house. After both of the adults were in the house, no one noticed that one kid was swimming out exploring the deep part of the lake where the long strip of salt water ran into the lake. This was the fish's territory. The boy didn't know that his leg had a cut that was dripping blood. The fish jerked it's head to the right, smelling it's prey.

The smell grew stronger as the fish targeted it's prey and swam faster and faster. Suddenly the boy hit the fish's snout and the fish pulled the boy under with it's powerful jaws. The boy tried screaming but it did no good. The fish bit down on the poor boy's chest shattering bones and flesh as the boy closed his eyes forever. Then the surface was covered with dark red blood and bits of flesh. Once the fish finished feeding, it smelled something straight ahead. It couldn't see it, but it could surely smell the prey. Suddenly it shot off like a rocket towards the children. As the kids were still playing one of the kids looked at his watch and realized it was approaching 2:30 pm. Everyone there was on his baseball team and they had a game at 3:30. He made everyone quiet down, told everybody the time and said,

“It's 2:30. We should probably leave.”

Everyone agreed so they hoped out of the water, dried off, and left before the fish got to that part of the territory! Meanwhile Ellen and Matt were still eating and talking about what was going to happen tomorrow.

“So Ellen,” Hooper started to say. “I bet a lot of people are going to be over here tomorrow because the temperature is going to be 90. Would you like to help me?”

“Sure.” Ellen replied “What time should I be over here?” Ellen said.

“If it‘s not to much trouble 7:00,” Hooper said.

“Sure. Well thanks for the lunch Matt, I better get going.” Ellen said as she got up.

“Bye Matt.”

Once Ellen had left Hooper got up and started to clean the dishes.

“I'm glad Ellen lives in Amity,” Matt said to himself as he walked upstairs to listen to the radio.

After about an hour of listening to the radio he went down stairs and had a drink of coffee. Then he looked out the window to make sure no kids were left.

He looked at the clock and realized it was going on 5:30. So he sat down at the table and ate some grilled chicken for dinner.

The fish was following the scent of blood to Amity dock, just outside of the lake. There was a boy and his friend just dangling their feet in the water talking about taking there boat out for an evening fishing trip. One boy had cut his arm by falling on the wooden dock, and the blood trickled down the arm and into the water. The fish smelled the small drips and was heading 20 knots at the dock.

Suddenly the boys saw the fin and took there feet out. They thought they were safe, but they were dead wrong! The fish was swimming so fast that when it turned, and the tail hit the dock, the dock broke to pieces. The boys were in the water racing to their boat, ten yards away, but it was to late. The four ton animal lifted itself out of the water and took the boys under. Soon the fish was finished feeding and headed back to the lake, to finish off some more fish! The fish turned its head towards the beach. There were a group of Bottle Nosed Dolphins playing in the surf. There were two adults and five babies leaping up. Suddenly one adult saw the fish. It nudged the babies and they started swimming. The fish got faster and faster and the dolphins were getting slower. Two babies were lacking in speed. The five other dolphins didn't notice. The fish ripped both of the dolphins to shreds in seconds and increased in speed. Finally the shark dove under. It then leaped out and landed on the dolphin eating them all with out a fight. The fish completed its meal and head back to the lake.

Chapter 3

After Hooper finished dinner he got ready for bed, since he had to get up early tomorrow. After he brushed his teeth, he hopped into bed. That night Hooper had another nightmare. He was out on his lake in a small row boat, at the dead of night, with no one there, and a gigantic fin was slicing through the water around him. He was looking for any weapons to use but had none! Suddenly the fin hit the boat with a crack! Hooper fell the bottom of the boat as the fish started chomping up the wood. In a blink of an eye Hooper was just sitting in the water with the fish circling him. Just as the fish was bringing down it's powerful jaws Hooper woke up in a humongous scream! Once Hooper finished screaming he got up and drank a glass of water. The he tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't. He looked at his watch. It was nearly five and he knew Ellen would be there in about two hours, so Matt just stared around his room until he drifted off to sleep thirty minutes later.

Suddenly he heard a beeping noise on his dresser. Matt realized it was his alarm clock. He rolled over and realized in was 6:30. It was thirty minutes until Ellen would arrive. So he got up took a shower, shaved, and had a cup of coffee.

Once his coffee was drank Hooper heard a knock at the door. When he flew it open Matt realized it was Ellen.

“Thanks for coming to help.” Hooper replied as Ellen stepped in.

“No problem.” she said.

They started talking and talking until it was quarter until nine. When they were just getting deep into the conversation there was another knock at the door. Matt opened it up and there were about six kids standing at the front door repeating the same question

“May we swim in your lake again today.”

Matt was just about to say yes when about ten more kids showed up. Finally when all of the kids were at the door, Hooper said yes the lake was soon filled with kids.

At first Ellen and Matt sat down in the lounge chairs and watched the kids for about twenty minutes. After that they thought the kids were fine and headed in side to have breakfast.

The fish felt the vibrations of the water splashing and headed towards the kids. When the vibrations grew stronger and stronger the fish swam faster and faster. About five of the kids were throwing football in the water. One kid was backing up to catch the football. But before he could the fish took him under and swallowed him whole! At first some kids were in shock. Then suddenly the fin broke the surface. Most of the kids headed to the dock as fast as they could.

“Please don't let me,” a kid was trying to say as he was treading water, but he didn't have time to finish the sentence.

The shark took him under! As all this chaos was happening a helicopter was flying over the lake. It saw what was happening and swooped in low to help. Some kids stopped to get on to the copter but some kept swimming. As a kid was climbing up the ladder the shark jumped up and ripped the ladder off and killing the boy.

The helicopter lowered to try and get to the kids. Ellen and Matt heard something outside and ran out. Just as they got out they saw the copter get pulled down to it's watery grave. Ellen and Matt tried to save the rest of the kids but the shark took them under. As blood filled the lake and the fin slid under the surface of the water Ellen and Hooper just stood there and watched in shock.

Once they were out of their shock Ellen said,

“Did you know about the shark?”

“No.” he said.

Ellen asked again,

“What are you going to do?”

“I don't know?” he replied.

After five minutes of talking Hooper thought of something.

“I've got.” he said. “There is a aquarium about three miles away. I bet they will catch the shark and put it into the aquarium.”

“That's a great idea.” Ellen replied. “Let's do it.”

“Hello is this the aquarium of Amity island hear,”

Hooper said as someone talked into the phone

“Yes this is. How can I help you sir?”

“Yes hi I am Matt Hooper and I've got a problem and a gift, if you can do something for me.”

“What is this problem sir?”

“Well right now I have a huge great white shark in this lake I have. It has killed a couple of kids and I thought you guys might want it for your aquarium.”

“So you want us to capture it for you?”

“Yes.”

“Okay. Can a coastline ship fit into this lake of yours.”

“Sure this lake is huge.”

“Okay Mr. Hooper we'll be over there in about two hours. Bye.”

“Well I hope this works Matt.” Ellen said

“Lets hope so. That shark is causing me nothing but trouble.” Hooper replied. “I have dealt with enough sharks for a life time!”

Chapter 5

“Riiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggggg," went Hooper's door bell.

Hooper and Ellen jumped off the couch as they walked to the door. There was a long skinny man probably between thirty or forty.

“Hello there.” he said. “Are you the people you called us earlier?”

“Yes we are. Where is that coastline ship of yours?”

“It is right over there getting into this lake. This shark should be captured in a couple of hours.”

“Okay.” Hooper replied. “We will just stay inside until you are finished.”

As Hooper and Ellen went inside the house the man got on a small row boat and headed to the coastline ship. As the man got on someone shouted,

“Hey Greg do you want to start chumming?”

Another man from the other side of the boat said,

“Go ahead. That shark will come running!”

As the fish swam around it's territory it picked up vibrations from the Coat line ship and started to smell blood and fish guts. The vibrations were stronger as the ship headed towards the shark and the shark headed for the ship.

One man was in a lounge chair barely looking out into the water. Suddenly he saw a little movement in the water that caught his eye! He was going to tell the other guys on the boat, but he didn't see anything he decided not to. Suddenly the fish hit the boat and almost knocked the man out of his chair! Before he could get up the other men were running up the stern where the fish was. One man shouted to another person,

“Charlie get the harpoon.”

Charlie shouted, “I'm on it. Look there it is! Right beneath the surface.”

The fish was right by the stern watching the men from above. Suddenly Charlie appeared from the deck house holding a coal black, three foot long metal harpoon. He loaded it into a gun on the back of the boat. While Charlie was loading the gun Greg was poring chum. Suddenly the fish leaped out of the water showing it's white belly! Charlie shot the harpoon and hit the fish dead center. When it splashed back into the water Charlie yelled to another person,

“Michael get the tranquilizer gun!”

Michael disappeared into the deck house. Then reappeared with the tranquilizer in his hand.

The fish was trying to pull away, but the harpoon was to strong. Mike suddenly threw the tranquilizer dart towards the fish. It hit the shark directly on the dorsal fin.

“You got it!” Charlie yelled.

“Yeah I did. How long before the tranquilizer dart kicks in?”

Greg yelled out “It will take a few minutes but it shouldn't get far, since it is harpooned.”

“Alright let's just wait until then.” Charlie said. A couple of minutes later the shark was tranquilized and the crew workers could bring it to the aquarium. Since it was to weak to fight against the boat it was just being pulled across the water. Soon the coast liner was parked at Amity dock being let into the aquarium.

There was a big storage room for animals to be researched and kept. Once the shark was in the storage room the coat liner dropped the harpoon and sailed out of the aquarium. Soon two men appeared in the room. One man said

“Sir I know that the shark would be a great display but it is to risky having it in the display room. It could break through the glass, the water could rise to the generator room and blow up the aquarium.”

“Bull crap.” the other man said. “There is probably a one percent chance of that happening. Now there are men in cages down there seeing if that the animal is safe to put in the display.”

“But sir...”

“Oh fine John, since your so worried about it close the gate so the fish can't get out of this room!”

Then the man left the room. Then John pulled out a card and swiped it on a little machine that closed a door. Then John to left the room. Under the surface of the water there were about four men in shark cages observing the shark. The fish was swimming around and then picked up vibrations from the cages.

It turned it's head and raced towards one! It hit the nose with it's nostril making a dent. After a few seconds the cage was shattered and drifting to the bottom. The diver was trying to swim up but there was no chance. The fish had it's jaws open and scoped him up faster than any of the divers could see. Suddenly the fish turned around and did the same to the other divers.

One diver barley made it near the side of the wall. He was just climbing up when the shark came up and tore off his hands and legs. There was blood oozing everywhere but for some reason the man was still alive. But no longer. The fish came up, threw the corps up in the air and swallowed it. Once the fish finished feeding it headed towards the door. Heading twenty knots that steel door was like thread to the shark.

It proved it by destroying the door! The fish was now in a small display room with some tourists behind a glass window. They were watching the beautiful fish but not now, They were running to the stairs trying to save them self’s from dying. The fish raced towards the glass breaking it with no problem. About two people made it but the other three were no chance against the twenty two foot fish. As the fish shredded them with it's razor teeth the water turned dark red.

The fish finished feeding. There was another sheet of glass in front of the fish looking perfectly new. It didn't matter to the shark because before you could yell “Shark,” that glass was destroyed leading it into another display room.

This time there was a glass tube at the bottom of the water with people in it watching the beautiful surroundings. Before they could notice the shark was heading towards the tube heading at twenty knots. It's nostril hit the glass, broke through, and leading thousands of gallons of water into the glass tube! People were running but the water came around them and drowned them. The tube was big enough for the fish, so it squeezed through and headed to the next room.
The rushing water headed into a small display room, knocking down fish tanks, doors, and mostly everything. Soon the fish came along and finished off the people, banged down the door leading it to not a display room, but the power room!

John was walking in the power room just seeing if everything was alright. Suddenly a flashing light caught his eye. When it was flashing red, which it was, it meant that a tank had broke and the water was rushing into the power room. John's face turned pale. He knew if water would rise to a certain level the whole place was going to blow. Before John could do anything the water rushed in there. Soon John was dead from drowning but the water was rising to the generator! Soon the shark was in the room. It was looking for another door.

It's coal black eye spotted a door leading to the open ocean. It headed at full speed straight towards it. Just as it was a tail length out of the aquarium the whole place burst into flames! Then the shark turned south looking for more things to feed on.

Chapter 6

It was a foggy day on Amity. Humidity was high and the day just made you say “Yuck.”

The fish stayed south for the day gathering food. Hooper was just getting out of bed taking his morning shower. After he got out he got dressed and went to make himself some toast. After finishing breakfast he read the paper. After thinking today would be a relaxing day he was shocked when he saw the headline!

“Monster shark breaks out of aquarium and burst the place into flames. Shark escapes back into open ocean.”

Just the second after he finished the sentence the phone rang. It was Ellen!

“Did you read the headline today Matt?” she yelled into the phone.

“Yes I did I can't believe it. How could that thing do it?”

“I don't know. What are you going to do?” She asked.

“Nothing.” He replied.

“Hooper!” Ellen gasped.

“I'm not kidding Ellen. One shark is enough for me. I can't handle another one!”

“Alright. Hopefully someone else will kill it” Ellen replied softly.

“Hey can I come over, this vacation is turning into a nightmare?” Hooper asked.

“Sure I could use the company.”

“Thanks, see you in a little bit. Bye.”

Then they both hung up. Ellen was in her night gown, with her hair messed up, and putting the coffee on. She was grabbing some orange juice when she heard something in the garage. She opened the door. Hooper was on an old cardboard box looking at the same shark books that Martin had looked at thirty years ago.

“Sorry Ellen I would have came in but when I was just about to knock I came across these books and got hooked.”

“That’s fine.”

Ellen looked at Hooper. He looked like he hadn’t slept for a while.

“Rough night Matt?”

“Yeah I haven’t slept good in a week.”

“I’m sorry to hear that. Coffee?”

“No thanks.”

Hooper started to chuckle.

“What is it?”

“I just realized. Thirty years ago I loved these animals. They were the most graceful creatures in the world. Where did the golden days go? Now if I just see a picture of one I think back to when I was on the ORCA.”

“You can’t do anything about that Matt. Just try to forget the past and live in the future.”

“That’s just it. No matter how hard I try. I can’t. I’ve tried therapy, pills, and all sorts of things.”

He leaned his head on Ellen’s chest. She got up and looked at one of the shark book’s.

“I don’t get it Matt. It says here sharks aren’t man eaters.”

“I know those shark books are useless!”

He got up and went to Ellen.

“May I have some coffee?”

“Sure.”

They walked in leaving the books on the box.

It was about 10:30. Out at sea the weather was foggy. Towards the land the sky was more clear. It was about fifty degrees. There was an old fishing boat dragging a net behind it about 100 yards away. Jake and his sister Nancy were about thirty and Jack who was steering the boat was about sixty. They were dressed for cold weather drinking coffee. Jake was on the edge looking at the net trailing. The fish was swimming around fifty yards off. It was swimming closer and closer. Suddenly it’s tail was caught in the net. The net was going down.

“Slow the boat Jack the net got something big.”

The boat stopped. Suddenly the fin broke the surface. It pulled and pulled. Finally the net broke and the fish broke free. The stern bent down and water rushed forward. The boat was still up. The fish turned around. It leaped onto the boat! The two people rushed up to the deck house. They slammed the door. The shark slid back in when no food was there. Jake was trying to open the door but it wouldn’t open. It was going under to fast. Soon the whole boat was under the water and they were dead. The shark broke threw the door and finished them off. The fish didn’t like the cold water so it headed back to the lake where warmer water was. There was a yacht about four hundred yards off the coast. There was a man and a women both in their mid sixties. They looked at the sky. It started to drizzle. They had a radar.

It said… “Storm approaching find cover.”

“Well,” said the man. “I guess we should get to Amity.”

The women nodded. The man turned the wheel towards the island. A streak of lightning flashed across the sky as thunder rumbled. Waves chopped as the wind howled over the water. The fish heard the propeller. It turned it’s head and darted for the boat. Rain was pouring now and lightning flashed every few seconds. The women opened her umbrella. The man was working the wheel when suddenly the boat stopped. Gas was fine but something was wrong with the propellers. He turned around to look at the propellers. The fish leaped up taking the man under.

“Harold,” the women screamed.

She saw the fin circling the boat. She then collapsed from the shock. She was dead. The fish soon leaped onto the stern letting the body fall into the fish’s mouth. It was finished feeding so it headed back to the lake. The boat sank quickly as the fish slid under heading back. Bits of the boat floated around in the waves. It was about five o'clock and Hooper was at a old almost abandoned bar by the harbor. It was pouring so Hooper was just drinking and waiting for it to stop raining. The only other person that was there was the bar tender. Hooper had two beers and was waiting for the and the rain to where off before he went home. The bartender was washing dishes when he realized that the man was Matt Hooper. He remembered that he had destroyed the shark over thirty years ago. He had a picture of Hooper and Brody on the wall.

"Hey your Matt Hooper that guy who destroyed that shark."

Hooper took one last sip of beer, put on his rain coat, left a check, and left before the bar tender could say anything else. Hooper was driving and thinking that there was an old fisherman, a good friend of Hooper’s that lived near the bar. His name was Pete. Hooper saw his house and pulled in. Hooper knocked on the door. No answer. Hooper knocked again. No answer. Hooper realized the door was open so he went in.

“Pete you here?”

Hooper was just about to leave when Pete came in through the door soaking wet. Pete was in his mid-fifties a little chubbier then Matt.

“Mr. Hooper is that you?”

“Yes hi Pete sorry for not waiting but it was pouring and the door was unlocked so I thought you wouldn’t care.”

“Oh yes it’s fine do you want anything? Bread, Tea, Wine?”

“No Pete I’m fine its just that well have you seen a shark around here?”

“Yes I have. Pretty big to. I think it was a White Shark.”

“Dang Pete why didn’t you tell anybody?

“Well it was gone the next day so I thought it came in and left.”

“Well it hasn’t and it’s killing people so do you have any leads, or equipment on how to kill it?”

“Yes I do but I can’t really capture anything else besides fish so well, you can use my equipment.

“Okay so where is it.”

“In the garage I’ll get them.”

Hooper looked out the window. The rain seemed to clear up but still raining pretty hard. He saw Pete loading the equipments into Hooper’s truck. After he finished Hooper was outside.

“Thanks a lot Pete I owe you one.”

“No problem Matt. I hope you kill the shark.”

“Thanks bye.”

Hooper got in his truck and drove away. He was driving along the road when he saw a sign. He could barely see it but he made out… Oceanographic Institute cargo ship docks in Amity on June 14th to help with shark problem.

Hooper just realized tomorrow was June 14th so he called Ellen. He told her and they agreed they would meet at the ship tomorrow at twelve. Hooper reached his house. After he parked his car he went straight to bed.

Hooper got up about 10:00 am the next morning. He shaved ate breakfast and drove to Ellen’s. He picked her up and drove to the cargo ship. After they parked they saw a door so they walked in. Inside was about ten tanks with fish in them. Hooper saw one with a diver and a six foot Mako shark. The diver was in the tank swimming with it. He looked and saw Ellen and Hooper and hopped out.

“What can I do for you two?” he asked.

“Hi Jim do you remember me I’m Matt Hooper.”

“Oh yes how are you Matt?”

He hugged Matt very tight.

“Hello and who might you be?”

“Ellen Brody. I’m a friend of Hooper.”

“Ah. So what can I do for you Matt?”

“Well…”

“I’m cold lets go to my office.”

Jim was drying off as they got to his office. There were pictures of sharks all over the wall. They all sat down.

“So what is it Matt?”

Hooper handed him an article of the New Jersey attack of 1916. Jim looked at it.

“So what about this Hooper?”

“Well you know five people were injured and killed. This shark is even worse. It ate all of the victim and there has been more attacks.”

“Matt there is a eighty nine year difference in that attack and this attack. So of course it is going to be worse.”

“But you’ve got to listen I’ve fought a shark like this one.”

“Look Matt you’re not part of this institute anymore so why don’t you let us do our job. If you don’t I’ll have to ask you to leave.”

“Listen Jim I know what your trying to do is wrong. Please listen me. Your trying to capture it, and this shark is to dangerous!”

“Mr. Hooper I’ve talked to you all I’ve wanted to please leave.”

“Fine but if your going to kill this animal your going to listen to me.”

“Mr. Hooper leave. We don’t even know if it is a shark. We need proof.”

“Proof. Proof! Your crazy of course it’s a shark you idiot.”

“Mr. Hooper leave now!”

Hooper and Ellen got up and left. They got in the car and started to drive back to Hooper’s house.

“They’ll never catch that shark. Never!”

Hooper dropped Ellen back at her place and he went home. What was he going to do. What?! Back at the cargo ship Jim and his assistant Millie were out on a research vessel gathering information. Millie was lowering a bucket into the water getting water samples to test, to see if the water was bad.

“Hey Jim,” Millie yelled up.

“Yeah Millie.”

Millie replied “What are we doing out here?”

“First to see if there is a shark or what’s causing the deaths.”

After talking the fog rolled in. They couldn’t see ten yards away from the boat.

“Jim should we head back? We could get lost out hear. This boat doesn’t have a radar.”

“Were fine I have my compass, and anyway I can hear the lighthouse, so we’ll just follow the sound.”

Suddenly the moaning stopped. The fish was in the area where the boat was. It headed towards the boat. Millie just picked up the bucket when she heard a thrashing sound in the water. She couldn’t see the fin but she knew it was there.

“Jim there it is.”

Jim looked over the side. Sliding right next to the boat was a fin sliding gracefully through the water. Jim ran into the deckhouse. He came out with a dart gun. He put a tag on it so they could track the animal.

“Where did it go Millie?” Jim asked.

“Right here.” she replied.

Jim rushed to the side. The fin was so close to the boat he could almost touch it. Jim stuck the fin with the dart, leaving a small dart on the fin and a tag number. The fin went under without a trace. When the fish was gone Millie let down a rope to see where the bottom of the ocean was.

“Jim come here.”

“What Millie?”

“I’m putting the rope down but it’s still not touching the bottom.”

Suddenly the fog cleared. Jim and Millie looked up. Nowhere in sight was the island!

“Jim! Where’s the island?”

“I don’t know Millie. How did we get this far out?”

“You tell me Jim. You’re the one who said we wouldn’t get lost.”

“Don’t worry Millie, I’ll just start the boat and we’ll drive around. It can’t be far.”

Jim started the boat. Nothing happened.

“Jim!”

“Millie the boat won’t start.”

“Then were stuck in the middle of the freaking ocean. With a killer shark around!”

Suddenly a fin came up onto the surface. It got closer and closer to the boat without Jim or Millie noticing. Suddenly it slid under. Millie started to cry.

“You killed us Jim. You killed us!”

Suddenly the fish leaped out of the water. Millie turned around gasping in horror. It landed on the boat breaking the stern off. Millie slid down falling into the fish’s mouth.

“Millie!” screamed Jim.

He got to the front of the boat since the boat was going down stern first. After about thirty seconds Jim was just sitting in the water. The fin was heading straight for him.

“Hooper was right. Good bye world!”

Jim slid under the surface. He was gone. The fin slid under. The fish headed south back to the island. It was finished hear.

Chapter 7

The sun was setting on the and it was clearing up. Amity Resort was reserved for a private party for teens. Some were on the beach partying but a couple were out there hunting for that shark. But most of them were still partying. All of them were drunk poring every single thing of chum into the water. It was attracting the fish and it was coming as fast as it could. The party goers couldn't see anything in the water so they kept dancing on their boats. Soon the fish hit one boat knocking the kid into the water.

The kid was in the fish's mouth being torn to jelly. Soon bits of blood fell from the fish's mouth and headed upward. One guy was so drunk he threw a barrel into the water lightning it on fire. It would blow up any second because the barrel was filled with gasoline. But before it could hit the water the shark grabbed it with it's jaws and threw hit at the boats.

The boats were pretty close together so when some of the boats lit on fire all of them did. Soon every boat was bursting into flames leaving wood and torso every where. Soon more barrels floated on the surface. The music was so loud on the beach no one heard the explosion or saw it. Soon the shark grabbed a barrel and headed to the surface. It got closer to the beach until the fish threw the barrel onto the beach.

There was a big bond fire on the beach. Before anyone could notice the barrel of gasoline was in flames! Just as someone saw it the whole beach burst into flames. Most people just starting dying but some ran into the water. Some people knew there was a shark in the waters but they kind of had no choice. When the people entered the water the fish took three people under at the same time! There were about six people left treading water when one person spotted an old fishing boat. It didn't look like much but at least it was a boat. He swam over there as fast as he could trying to save the other people. Soon he was in the boat rowing over to the swimmers.

“Give me your hand.” he yelled to a guy.

Before the guy could reach out the fish took him under. The man could only watch despair as the man was ripped by hundreds of teeth. Soon the man in the boat tried to beat the shark to the other swimmers. But the shark was to fast. It got to all other swimmers before the man could even start rowing. Now it was the man in the boat versus the shark.

The man couldn't find any weapons in the boat so he started rowing fast as lightning to a part of the beach that was not in flames. But just before he reached the beach the fish started chomping the wood up like tissue. Soon the man was just floating there waiting to die. Suddenly before the man could look down the fish took him under. The shark soon ripped him in half and the upper half of the body floated to the surface. Soon the shark came up and took down the rest of the torso.

The fish finished feeding and turned out of Amity Resort. No one was left alive back there and the only thing you could see is the blaze of fire stretched along the beach. It was not a pretty sight at all. The fish was out of Amity Resort continuing to feed!

Chapter 8

It was morning about 9 o'clock a.m. The fish was on the other side of Amity continuing to feed. On this side there were tons of speed boats in these waters. No one had heard of the attacks yet so everyone was in the water. About fifty yards off shore there was a small shack being supported by steal beams under the water. It served sea food for mostly any person.

Most of all the skiers, boat drivers, and just regular swimmers were here having some breakfast. Most people were eating but some were just staring out at the sea thinking about the beauty of the ocean. A lot of people were swimming around the shack. Some people were swimming since the water was so crystal clear you see the bottom of the sea floor it was so clear and fresh. Suddenly someone saw the fish lurking beneath the water. Soon everyone had zipped out of the water except one. He was under the water snorkeling.

The guy who was snorkeling saw the fish. Before the kid could reach the surface the fish grabbed his lower body. The fish's snout hit the surface. Then the shark threw the boy up into the air. Before the body could hit the water the pulled itself out of the water. It's jaws ripped the boy in half when the fish met with the torso. Soon the fish under the water again heading for the shack.
The people were standing on the dock of the shack. The shark's snout soon slid under the surface. The fish hit the beams holding the dock up. The shack hadn't fallen, but all the people had. All the people were in the shark's jaws being shredded. The fish finished with the swimmers and headed for the shack!

There was a man in the shack eating some fried shrimp and looking out to the ocean. Suddenly he saw the fin slicing through the water towards the shack. He was just about to tell someone when he noticed the dock was gone. In a blink of an eye the fish had gone under. So he decided not to tell anyone. Then he felt a small shake. The man looked out the peephole. He saw the shark hitting and breaking the poles.

“Everyone get out of here! A great white is destroying the beams that are holding this place up!”

“Yeah right. Good joke man.” someone yelled.

Suddenly the whole place shook. Everyone started running all over the place. The fish banged and banged on the beams until one snapped! Then like a Domino they all started to break. Just as some people were reaching the door the whole place fell under the glassy water. Most people drowned at first but some were getting out the door. But the White Death bust through killing the survivors. It tore bits of flesh turning bones into jelly as it ripped apart the torso with it's powerful jaws. Soon the fish finished feeding with blood streaming from the jaws. Outside the shack there was a guy named Shane and a woman named Amy. They were jet skiing. Shane was driving and Amy was holding on to his back. Amy suddenly saw the shark.

“Shane drive as fast as you can. There is a killer shark after us!”

Shane saw it and cranked up the speed. Amy grabbed a pistol from her pocket. She aimed at the shark and fired. It did no damage. The engine cut off. They were out of gas. They held onto each other. Amy kept shooting but it did no good. A helicopter was flying by. The pilot saw the shark and swung in low. He lowered a ladder. The shark leaped out of the water. Amy and Shane were on the ladder as soon as the shark took the jet ski under. The helicopter flew away bringing them up. The fish darted away to the land. Fifty yards away just a few feet from shore were a few people swimming. Soon the fish picked up their scent and rushed towards the swimmers. One guy was on the beach sun bathing. He saw the fin slicing through the water towards the water!

“Get out of the....” It was to late.

The shark brought it's head out of the water taking it down a 11 year old kid. Soon the ocean ran red. People were running in the water trying to save the people swimming in but as they got to the swimmers the shark had already killed them. Soon the Great White Death took them as well.

Soon there was no one left in the water but as far as the eye could see the ocean ran red. People were running all over the beach as the shark's fin sliced through the water.

About two miles off shore was an Oceanographic institute vessel that was anchored. Seven divers were in the water looking at rays, seals, and other sea creatures trying to find out why this shark was a man eater. Soon two divers went to the surface and onto the boat. “There’s nothing. There isn’t anything wrong with the water, and the animals are in perfect condition. Why is this Great White so different?”

“I don’t know Sam but maybe we could capture it and then see what is with it’s brain.”

“No way. My mother had tried that with Mako Sharks once. The sharks escaped, destroyed the platform, and killed her.”

“I see so..”

Sam stopped talking. Thirty yards off was the shark.

“Get them out quickly.”

The divers saw the fish and were soon out of the water. The fin circled the boat as the divers watched it gracefully. Suddenly Sam was in a metal diving suit putting together a small one man shark cage.

“Sam what the hell are you doing?”

“Someone needs to study that shark. And I’m taking the risk.”

“Sam don’t please.”

Sam wasn’t listening. He plopped the shark cage into the water. The line was attached to the cage. Sam jumped in as he was putting on his face gear. He had a rifle in his hand. One of his crew mates closed the cage as it went into the water. The fish turned it’s head towards the cage. The fish glided past it as Sam watched it. For about two minutes the fish glided around the cage when suddenly the tail hit the cage knocking the camera out of Sam’s hands. He picked up the rifle as the shark moved closer. The fish moved above the cage when suddenly it was caught in the rope. It twisted and shook as Sam shot the rifle. It just made the fish shake it’s body more. Finally the rope snapped and the cage tumbled down with the shark to the bottom. Sam was just about to fire another shot when the fish jerked the gun turned and Sam shot his own leg. Sam opened the door trying to swim to the surface. He made it up and his friends pulled him out quickly. They rapped his leg and headed back to Amity. The fish got loose and headed back to Amity where the final showdown would begin. The sharks final hours. The fish headed back to the lake finishing it’s remainder of fish.

Chapter 9

It was another foggy day in Amity. Humidity was high and everyone was in doors. Hooper was having some scrambled eggs, French toast, and a cup of coffee. He picked up the paper to read but when he saw the next headline he dropped his mug to the icy tile floor! The headline was

“Killer Shark Strikes Again. Kills Swimmers and Destroys Restaurant and injured man.”

Hooper looked in shock until finally the phone rang. It was Ellen.

“Hooper I guess you read the paper.”

“Yes I did. Now I'm going to do something.”

“What?” asked Ellen.

“Well, there is an aqua station near by. I am going to give it a call and see if they can kill it.”

“All right then I'll hang up so you can give them a call. bye.”

Hooper hung up and dialed the aqua station.

“Hello.” someone answered into the phone.

“Hi. My name is Matt Hooper and I've got a problem. I own a lake house not to far from your place and a killer shark has been devouring people in it. Do you think you could kill it?”

“So wait a minute sir. You own the lake house about three miles north from here don't you.”

“Yes.”

“Okay we will help you kill this animal but since it is going to be hard it will cost you about 75$.”

“That is fine. But where is this aqua station?”

“Okay if you go to the ferry dock go left for two miles and then head out to sea for one mile. It will be half above the surface and half below.”

“What time?

“In one hour.”

“Thank you.”

Hooper hung up and called Ellen.

“Hello Hooper?”

“Yes Ellen it is me. I called the aqua station. They will help us kill the shark!”

“Great, what time?”

“In about one hour.”

“Okay how do we get there?”

“Go to the ferry dock, go left for three miles, and go out to sea for one mile.”

“Okay Matt see you there.” Hooper quickly got up and headed towards his car. He soon got in and started the car. The engine roared to life as Hooper soon backed out towards the south side of Amity.

It was about fifteen minutes until Hooper met Ellen at the edge of the beach.

“Hey Ellen there is a speed boat tied to the dock right in front of us. Do you want to get in and head towards the aqua station?”

“Sure the sooner the better!”

Hooper and Ellen were out to sea, about to the aqua station. Soon they were at the aqua station going inside. They were in and the boss was showing them around.

“Here is the big window where we can see all the animals in front of the aqua station.”

Also this is where we will kill the shark. Mark start the chum gun.” Soon a small gun came out of the front of the station shooting chum into the water. Soon the gun went back in and two very large guns came out instead, ready to kill anything in it's way.

The shark soon smelled chum in the water. It was forty yards away swimming faster than ever than before with it's dorsal fin above the surface slicing through the water! As the people were waiting for the shark a guy working their spotted something big on the radar. He yelled to his boss...

“Um uh boss there is something very big on the radar.”

“Don't worry it is probably a big school of fish.”

As they kept waiting they saw something in the water. It was getting closer and closer.

“That’s it!” Hooper yelled.

“Fire now!” The boss said.

Nothing happened. The fish just kept coming faster and faster.

“Run everybody the guns are jammed!” Someone yelled.

Everyone was getting out the door to quick to notice one guy was stuck in his wheel chair trying to get out. But it was to late! The shark broke through the glass shattering water everywhere. The man's floating torso floated into the sharks grasping jaws tearing the body to bits. The bones turned to jelly blood and flesh flew all over the place and body parts got ripped apart. Soon the shark made it out of the aqua station and went along the open ocean.

Everyone else made it out just to see the aqua station sink to the bottom. The remaining body parts of the man were crushed by the destroyed aqua station! Everyone soon made it to the beach just falling to the ground!

“I can't believe that shark!” the boss said.

“I know.” Hooper said “ How can we kill it?”

“I have an idea. I an maybe get in touch with some people, get some really big equipment and kill this animal!”

“That might just be crazy enough to work. A fisherman gave me some equipment to kill this animal. I'll give you some time to get the people and then we'll go after him.”

“Alright. What about the Oceanographic Institute they could help.”

“Crud no. They don’t give a crap.”

Everyone started to leave and Hooper and Ellen went back to the lake house.

Chapter 10

It had been two weeks since Hooper had heard from the boss of the aqua station. As Hooper was waiting around he remembered back to Quint's USS Indianapolis Speech...

“Japanese submarines slammed two torpedoes from our side chief. We were coming back from the island we just delivered the bomb. Seven hundred men went into the water, missile went down in twelve minutes. Didn't see the first shark for about a half hour, Tiger thirteen footer you know that when your in the water chief, you tell by looking from the dorsal to the tail. But we didn't know our bomb mission had been so secret, no distress signal had been sent. They didn't even list us overdue for a week. Very first light chief sharks come cruising. So we formed our selves into tight groups. The idea was that if the shark come the nearest man he start hollering and screaming sometimes the shark would go away. Sometimes he wouldn't go away. Sometimes that shark look right into you. Right into your eyes. Know this about the shark he got black eyes like a dolls eye. When he comes at you he doesn't seem to be living. Until he bights you and those eyes roll over to white. Then you hear that terrible high pitch screaming. Ocean turns red. Then you hear all the pounding hollering and screaming and then he rips you to pieces!”

Hooper's thoughts were interrupted by a phone call. He soon picked it up. It was the guy from the aqua station. The man said “Is this Matt Hooper?”

“Yes it is.”

“Hi Matt. I’m from the aqua station and you wanted me to get a lot of people together so we could kill this shark.”

“Yes I did. So how many people did you get together?”

“Tons of people. I even got a huge battle ship, a small but powerful blue hunting boat called the Aurora II, and tons of other equipment! But I don't know where this shark likes to hunt do you?”

“I think I know. About three miles out to sea north of that beach that your aqua station used to be on. All in that area is the shark's favorite hunting area.”

“Okay well we have everything ready I guess we can meet you and that lady Ellen in about a half hour.”

“Okay see you their.”

Hooper hung up and headed to his car. The engine roared to life as he set out for the final showdown!

Chapter 11

Hooper had gone, picked up Ellen, and had drove to the beach where the other guys were waiting. When Hooper got out all he saw was the boss of the aqua station. Hooper asked “Where are all the other people at?” The man pointed out to sea. Hooper looked to where he was pointing and saw about three miles out a small NAVY ship. Then all of them hoped into a small, fast speed boat and headed out there. It took about ten minutes before they got there but when they did get there everything was ready. Even the shark was swimming towards the battle as it's dorsal fin sliced through the choppy waves. Hooper and Ellen soon got onto to the big and powerful boat as the boss of the aqua station got onto the big war ship. As the guns were loading Hooper said

“This is where it ends you bastard!”

Suddenly someone threw him a large gun with what looked like a dart inside it.

“What is this?” Hooper asked.

Someone answered “It is like a tracker and a bomb. It tracks where the shark goes but if he goes to far from the boat then he blows up.”

“Okay.” Hooper said.

All of them were inside the deck house waiting. On the warship they were sending sonar frequencies to attract the fish, a helicopter was dragging a metal line threw the water with meat on the end, and Ellen was on the Aurora II throwing chum.

“What if he’s no hear?” someone asked.

“He’ll be here. I’m sure of it.” Hooper said.

One hour passed and still nothing.

“Anyone want a coke or something?” Hooper asked.

A couple of heads nodded and Hooper went to the ice chest. He just was reaching down when he saw five fins gliding in the water.

“Get to the deck there it is!”

Everyone rushed to the side ready to fire. Just as someone was beginning to fire Hooper shouted

“Hold your fire, that’s just a group of Makos. Suddenly the sharks swam away in a flash.

“He’s here.” Hooper yelled

“Your not sure of that.”

A fin circled the boat. One man ran to the stern aiming at the fin. Suddenly it slid under.

“Where is it?”

A shark lifted it’s head out of the water. One person shot a poison dart into it’s head. The fish was dead. The boat pulled over.

“It’s just a Tiger Shark. That’s probably what scared the Makos. The Tigers are bigger.” Hooper said.

Hooper heard a sound coming from the deckhouse. He rushed in including the other men and Ellen. It was the radio.

“Hooper come in.”

“I’m here,” Hooper said.

“What happened?” It was the warship.

“We caught a Tiger shark but nothing big.”

Dark was approaching so the Aurora II parked at the warship so the crew men could have a place to sleep. The fish was swimming not to far off. It gathered food waiting for it’s prey. Finally Dawn broke. Hooper, Ellen, and his crew got back on the Aurora II and stayed around the warship. It was a hot day so the crew stayed in the deckhouse. While everyone was waiting around, Ellen was chumming, and Hooper was pacing around with the dart gun something hit the boat. Ellen ran up to Hooper as they both looked out the peep hole. The shark was circling the boat. Everyone inside ran out on deck to see where the shark was. Suddenly the fish sprang out of the water showing everyone it's white belly. Hooper shot the shark as it went under.

“You got it.” someone yelled. “Now we can track it!”

Everyone on the boat had a gun and the big war ship was heading towards the shark. The fish was being hit by gun sho
