Now i know this is a touchy subject due to the first iconic and surprising original. But does anyone feel anyone could make an updated version that is more faithful to the book? I know it must be sacrilege to even say such a thing being such great movies have been destroyed by Horrible People (Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Etc..) I think if a really good script was evolved and a serious budget and producer were included. I think with today's technology and special effects (less cgi) i think it could look amazing. Now for those of you who haven't read the book, there's A LOT more to it than what we see in the film. It's just a pipe dream really. Especially in this day were you could really scare people with really manufacturing a shark attack. Just day dreaming.
