Shark Week

Hey All,
How many of U watch Shark Week on Discovery? I watch it every year, and learn something new from it each year. I am so glad they have this because it does educate individuals on sharks and these creatures R more than mindless eating machines. To me sharks R facinating and do incredible things. I luv the AIR Jaws, there’s something about a Great White jumping out of the water that gives U that WOW effect. I think all the programs they have on Shark Week R excellent and to close it out at the end of the week I watch JAWS & JAWS 2. They R beautiful creatures, but we can’t forget they can be dangerous. How many of U watch Shark Week and what have U learned from it?

‘ve been watching shark week for the last 24 years, since I was 9. I absolutely love it. But I hated Andy Samberg this year. It was stupidity at its finest. When Craig Ferguson hosted it was great, he was into it and treated it seriously. I’m also tired of the Air Jaws crap, we know great whites breech and that’s stupendous, but trailing a decoy to get them to do it not only wastes the sharks energy but has no scientific value. They treat those great whites like circus animals working for a treat that never comes.

I luv it especially the true stories like the USS Indianapolis and the Jersey Shore incident. I like the Air Jaws episodes and be prepared a new 1 is coming in 2012. I agree with U on the host, why couldn’t they get Mike Rowe who narrates some? i do think it would be cool, if the whole wk was devoted 2 SHARK WEEK, like 24/7 and keep those reality TV shows off. They could show classic shark movies in their place, that would be cool. What do U think?
