    In Jaws, Robert Shaw’s character Quint had been a crew member on board the U.S.S. Indianapolis, the ship that had delivered components to Tinian island for the atomic bomb. In the 2005 BBC documentary Hiroshima, Robert Shaw’s actor son, Ian, portrayed Capt. Paul Tibbets, the pilot whose plane dropped this weapon on Japan. http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0163664/
