Shaun of the Dead
ZombielandAugust 17, 2010 at 4:00 pm #8890I love the Exorcist. I think that it is a brilliant movie; however, I find it too draining. I find it bleak. It is very well done, too well done. I am in the process of psyching myself up to watch it now. I'm having a few people over to watch it. Should be good. What's Fido?? I'm going to YouTube it.
August 17, 2010 at 4:04 pm #8891Ok, I just looked up FIDO. It looks awesome! I don't know how I missed that one!

I love Alligator. I love movies where animals eat people; it's my favourite sub-genre. Piranha and Piranha II, JAWS and JAWS 2, & JAWS 3, Alligator, Lake Placid, Anaconda II, Eight Legged Freaks, Frankenfish (I know, I know), Empire of the Ants, ALIEN (all of them), It's a sickness I know.
August 18, 2010 at 6:16 pm #8895By the way, Friday 3 and 4 is when Jason was at his best for sure. Highlights in my movie life.
August 18, 2010 at 6:55 pm #8896yeah, you have to really appreciate Richard Brooker and Ted White's Jason, they were the best, followed by CJ Ghrahm. BTW, i hate Kane Hodder, and i think that he is the most overrated of them all, i would take Warrington Gillette before Kane Hodder

August 18, 2010 at 6:59 pm #8898I knew I liked you! Kane Hodder sucks donkeys!! It's like he was sleepwalking through the whole thing. I thought that Derek Mears did a really good job in the remake. I liked it a lot.
August 18, 2010 at 7:07 pm #8899yeah Mears was good, he kinda reminded me of Ted White and the way he moved.
i always got a kick out of saying its the way Hodder plays Jason, his movements and mannerisms, bullshit i say, he is huffing and puffing and sticking out his chest, Jason is a fucking zombie, what the hell is he doing breathing?

Braindead
28 days later
Hill have eyes (modern)
American warewolf in London
Evil dead 1 & 2August 20, 2010 at 11:49 am #8902How has nobody mentioned Braindead? It must be the most violent and funniest horror out there.
I can't take the name Lionel serious cos of it.
August 20, 2010 at 2:55 pm #8903This is the trailer for one of my favourite horror movies. It's a low budget Canadian film from the early eighties. I'm nogt sure why I love it so much but there you go! Enjoy.

P.S. Kahuna, could anyone evedr take the name Lionel seriously? I'm not sayin…I'm just sayin…
August 20, 2010 at 4:08 pm #8904i don't know Puckbunny13, i never heard of it, and i am canadian like you, but looks low budget, lol, like any canadian film. but, on the lighter side, the original My Bloody Valentine was filmed about 30 mins away from where i grew up!
August 20, 2010 at 5:22 pm #8905That's hilarious!Humongous was filmed about an hour from me! You're from the east coast? they just released an anniversary edition of My Bloody Valentine. Awesome movie. Right up there with Black Christmas for me and Canadian flicks!!
August 20, 2010 at 5:25 pm #8906For you Americans, Black Christmas WAS the original slasher flick by a long shot!! Not Halloween or Friday the 13th.
