    I don’t think that “Jaws the Revenge” came to blu ray. I wouldn’t mind seeing “Jaws 2″ on blu ray, it is a good movie, but not as good as the original, but “Jaws 2″ sure tops “Jaws the Revenge.

    It took them five months to restore JAWS for Blu-ray. Just guessing here, but I’m not sure they want to spend that amount of time and money on restoring JAWS 2. It will probably be released eventually, but I highly doubt it will look very good.

    I’ve seen Jaws 2 in HD over here in the UK on TV. It looked pretty good to be fair.

    Jaws 2 is not great, but it’s nice to see the familiar characters again and the shark scenes are pretty decent. Jaws 4 is a film that I renounce with every fiber of my being. That movie is a waste of celluloid and a black mark on the Jaws legacy. Seriously, eff that movie.

    I have a higher opinion of Jaws 2 than Jp. While I agree it could have, if not should have been better, I still think it’s a worthy sequel that has many great moments. However, and I’m really sorry about this Brannon, I think he pretty much nailed it on JTR. I mean no disrespect to you at all Brannon, just one guys opinion.

    I understand. I feel that way about Jaws 3. I am in a minority myself on liking that film. I seem to remember you not liking that, so feel free to fire away my friend!! :)

    Jaws 3-D is a great dude, I just don’t like the ‘Sea World’ aspect of it. I like all the sequels except Jaws 2, I don’t know why, I just don’t like it.. oh well, Roy Sheider is the only good thing about Jaws 2 :P

    Sooner or later they probably will put Jaws 2 out on Blue Ray. The waitings the hard part. I’m just happy I have all 4 on DVD. Even though 4 is my least favorite:)

    Jaws the Revenge is like Rocky 5. You hate it, you hate that its exists, but sometimes on a lazy weekend, You’ll watch it again.

    The latest rumour is that some if not all of the JAWS sequels will be released at the same time that JAWS is on August 12, 2012. :cool:

    PS Love JAWS 3-D; I saw it twice in the theatre. JAWS The Revenge is awful but I like it and I watch it fairly regularly. I enjoy it thoroughly but I still can see that it is a terrible film.

    I really think Jaws 3 & 4 were in dire need of Zanuck & Brown’s guidence and Z/B knew that they couldn’t do that much more after 1 and 2 except make JAWS 3/PEOPLE 0 and I personally would find that offensive to parody the greatest thriller of all-time. Infact, I don’t even call the shark Bruce.

    jaws 2 will be out on br the same day as jaws and jaws 3d. revenge is not listed.
